Blue Cheese Vinaigrette

  • 2 medium garlic cloves, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup crumbled bleu cheese


  • Combine all ingredients except oil and cheese in blender container. Cover; blend at medium speed. Slowly add oil in thin stream, until blended. Stir in cheese. Chill.
  • Toss with DOLE® Baby Romaine to coat, as desired. Refrigerate any remaining dressing.
  • Makes about 1 cup.
