Apple Balsamic Vinaigrette

  • 1/4 cup white balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup apple juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon-style mustard
  • Salt and ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil


  • Combine all ingredients except oil in blender container. Cover; blend at medium speed. Slowly add oil in thin stream, until blended. Season to taste.
  • Toss with DOLE® Classic Romaine to coat, as desired. Refrigerate any remaining dressing.
  • Makes about 3/4 cup.
