Bacon, Onion and Mustard Salad Dressing

Ingredients

  • 4 slices bacon, chopped
  • 6 tablespoons orange juice, divided
  • 1/2 cup light sour cream
  • 3 tablespoons onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon-style mustard
  • 1 garlic clove, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

Directions

  • Fry bacon until crisp, set aside bacon with slotted spoon; reserve drippings. Add 3 tablespoons orange juice to drippings and heat through.
  • Combine orange mixture with all ingredients except bacon in blender container. Cover; blend until smooth. Stir in bacon.
  • Toss with DOLE® Italian Blend to coat, as desired. Refrigerate any remaining dressing.
  • Makes about 1-1/3 cups
